The Studio
My Goal
The studio aims to offer affordable guitar lessons and recording time to musicians in the Kingston and surrounding area. To make people feel comfortable and enjoy the process of learning and creating music.
Guitar Lessons and Recording
In person lessons are expensive when taken at big box locations and i am excited to offer high quality guitar lessons at 1/3 of the cost.
I began building the recording studio when i read about a library that donated space for individuals including Chance the Rapper to record in Chicago.
I am excited to continue to share the space with musicians in the Kingston area and help support and promote each others passions.
About Me
I am a fingerstyle guitarist and singer that has a wide range of music that i enjoy to play. Some of my influential artists include Chet Atkins, Tommy Emmanuel, The Tragically hip, Pearl jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Norah Jones.
I picked up the guitar when i was around 12 because my dad was a player and i loved the sound, feel and the challenge. I have taken guitar lessons in Kingston from a couple other very accomplished guitarists and completed a Guitar Specialist certificate with Berklee.
I don't just have a passion for playing though! I also have one for teaching people guitar and the joy that comes from having those "A-HA!" moments.
If you are a musician in the area interested in collaborating, please feel free to reach out! You can send me a message below. =)
